WHY 3xethical? 

 

Since 2014, when she obtained her certification as a UX Designer & Researcher from AKENDI in Vancouver, Susan has been closely tracking the rise of Artificial Intelligence with respect to User Experience, Social UX and Social Information Architecture. In 2017 Artificial Intelligence was the focus of the annual Information Architecture Summit held in Vancouver, Canada. The role of ethics in AI, as applied to UX Design & Research, as well as the structure and arrangement of information, was all the buzz at that conference. Ethics still offers the best solution for the "safe" design and development of AI, an emerging technology which has been developed by large tech companies since the 1950's. Now almost a decade later, AI has fully emerged in the form of a chat interface, called ChatGPT. This application has been accessed by billions of individuals and companies world wide since its launch in November 2022. Questions over regulations and constraints have been raging for almost one year and will, no doubt, continue over the next decade. Next year, 2024, will be a pivotal time for individuals and businesses to begin to adopt personal small/tiny/personal languages models (PLM's) for their own specific use cases.
